The characteristics of an effective TEACHER

In my own point of view, i think a teacher should have a very good classroom managemenet skill and have positive expectations for student success because if you do, it will greatly influence their achievement in your class and in their lives. A teacher should always treat students as though they already are what they can be, and you help them to be capable of becoming what they will be. A teacher should make the students learn from eachother because learning is most effective when it takes place in a supportive community of learners. The greater the time students work together and the greater the responsibility students take for their work, the greater will be the learning. A teacher should always cooperate with students instead of competing with them.
